# API Key Issuance Guide

Issuing an API key increases the default RPS (Requests Per Second) limit. When requesting an API key, please provide your estimated call volume, and we will determine an appropriate rate limit accordingly.

However, in general cases, the API provides sufficient speed and limits (2 RPS) even without an API key.<br>

Please submit the form via [`Dexlab API Key Request`](https://forms.gle/pnuAjVNsM8Mm6LSg7)

Provide details about your intended use and expected request limits.

After review, we will issue the API key to the requested email as soon as possible.

{% hint style="info" %}
For the Pro API, the x-api-key header must always be included in every request.
{% endhint %}

**Headers**

* Open API: `https://open-api.dexlab.space/`
  * *There is a rate limit of 2 RPS. If you need more, get a free API key.*
* Pro API( API key required ): `https://pro-api.dexlab.space/`
  * *The rate limit is increased and free.*

| Name         | Value              |
| ------------ | ------------------ |
| Content-Type | `application/json` |
| x-api-key    | `your api key`     |

*The Pro API functions the same as the standard API, except for differences in the header and endpoint.*

# Referral Reward

### 💡 What is the Referral System?

[Dexlab Factory Bot](https://t.me/dexlab_factory_bot) provides a built-in referral program that allows you to earn SOL rewards when you invite others.

When your invitee creates tokens or performs trades, you earn a portion of the fees directly to your deposit wallet.

***

### 🧾 How It Works

1. You must first create a referral account (automatically done via the /referral command).
2. Share your referral link with friends.
3. Your friend must start the bot using your referral link.
4. You will receive SOL rewards when they:
   * Launch tokens (e.g., via Pump.fun)
   * Perform trades (Buy/Sell)

> ⚠️ Rewards are not available if your friend starts the bot without your link.

#### 🖼️ Referral Interface

Once you run the /referral command, the bot shows you this screen:

<figure><img src="/files/o2CYVsnsR14z5GApRjn8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Your referral link: Tap to copy and share
* Friends invited: See how many users joined via your link
* Reward sources: Currently supports token launches & trades(with more to be added)

### 🎁 Current Reward Features

Rewards are paid out instantly, and are fully on-chain and verifiable.

***

#### 📌 Notes

* There is no limit to the number of users you can invite.
* If your invitee starts the bot before clicking your link, you will not receive rewards.
* Some actions (like token creation) require you to have a referral account registered in advance.

### 🎯 How to Earn DRP

You can earn DRP by performing the following actions:

* ⛏ Mine: Participate in click-based mining events
* 🪙 Create tokens: Use the bot to launch new tokens
* 🔄 Trade tokens: Buy or sell using supported aggregators

📌 **Before creating your token, connect your Solana wallet.**

* Click "Connect Wallet" at the top-right navigation bar.
* A pop-up will appear—select your preferred wallet. (e.g, Phantom, Solflare ...)
* Approve the connection request.
* Your wallet will be used to approve transactions and manage your token.

✅ **Once connected, proceed to the next step!**

### Step 2: Enter Token Information

<figure><img src="/files/tDDJueV0s0a9WJ2vIQd4" alt="" width="451"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Enter the basic details of your token.**

* Token Name: Enter the name of your token (e.g., Dexlab).
* Ticker (Symbol): Set a short symbol for your token (e.g., DXL).
* Symbol (Logo Image):
  * Upload an image (Recommended size: 256 × 256 pixels)
  * Supported formats(image): JPEG, JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, AVIF
* Description (Optional): Add a short description of your token.

✅ **Once you've entered all the details, proceed to the next step!** 🚀

### Step 3: Mint & Generate Your Token

<figure><img src="/files/UR59qdnN1wr8NhYiQs3v" alt="" width="373"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**📌 Finalize your token settings and complete the creation process.**

* Customize Token Address (Optional)
  * Add up to 4 custom characters at the start or end of your token’s address.
  * Example: If you enter "DXL", your address may start like "DXL...".
  * This is optional—you can keep a random address if you prefer.

  * Your token is now live on the Solana blockchain! 🎉🎉

### Step 4: Advanced Options (Optional)

<figure><img src="/files/mHbrjWBSKDjKwoyzXvic" alt="" width="383"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **These settings allow you to customize your token further. If you don’t need them, you can skip this step!**

* Decimals (Smallest Unit)
  * Defines how small a fraction of your token can be traded.
  * Default: 6 (1 token = 1,000,000 smallest units).
  * Example:
    * Decimals = 6 → 1 token can be divided into 0.000001 units.
    * Decimals = 1 → 1 token can be divided into 0.1 units.
* **Mint Authority (On/Off)**
  * **If ON:** You can issue additional tokens in the future, increasing the total supply if needed.
  * **If OFF:** The total supply is permanently fixed, and no additional tokens can be added.
* **Freeze Authority (On/Off)**
  * **If ON:** You can freeze or restrict transfers for certain wallets.
  * **If OFF:** All wallets can freely transfer tokens.

{% hint style="warning" %}

### **What is freezing authority?**

Freeze authority means **abandoning the token management**. Add and burn cannot be done if you freeze the authority.

Dexlab Minting Lab's default setting is **NOT** freezing the authority.

As you can see in the screenshot, if you **want to freeze the authority**, enable the checkbox.

For further explanation 👉🏻 <https://spl.solana.com/token#freezing-accounts>
{% endhint %}

* **Add Social & Metadata Links**
  * Attach official links to your token.
    * Website – Your project’s official page.
    * Twitter (X), Telegram, Discord – Community & updates.
* **Tags**
  * Tags help categorize your token.
  * Example tags: Meme, FanToken, Airdrop, RWA, Tokenization.

### Step 3: Set Transfer Fee (Optional)

<figure><img src="/files/filFPoUjO4h4sdfr6exa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The **Transfer Fee** feature allows your token to automatically charge a fee whenever someone transfers it.

This is useful for:

* Collecting fees for your project or treasury
* Creating deflationary mechanics
* Encouraging long-term holding

If you don’t want to use this feature, simply toggle the switch to **Off**.

**🔧 Transfer Fee Settings**

* **Fee Recipient**\
  The wallet address that will receive the collected transfer fees.
* **Transfer Fee (%)**\
  The percentage of tokens that will be charged as a fee during each transfer.\
  \&#xNAN;*For example, if set to 1.5%, a 100-token transfer will deduct 1.5 tokens as a fee.*
* **Max Transfer Fee (token)**\
  The maximum number of tokens that can be taken as a fee, regardless of the transfer amount.\
  \&#xNAN;*This prevents excessive fees on large transfers.*

✅ **Example:**\
If you set 1.5% fee and a max of 10 tokens, then:

* Transferring 100 tokens → Fee = 1.5 tokens
* Transferring 1,000 tokens → Fee = 10 tokens (capped)

### Step 4: Mint & Generate Your Token

<figure><img src="/files/6TRDFulVrj59iwUEpJqK" alt="" width="395"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**📌 Finalize your token settings and complete the creation process.**

* Customize Token Address (Optional)
  * Add up to 4 custom characters at the start or end of your token’s address.
  * Example: If you enter "DXL", your address may start like "DXL...".
  * This is optional—you can keep a random address if you prefer.
* Set Your Token Supply
  * Enter the total number of tokens to be created.
  * Default: 1,000,000,000 tokens, but you can change it.
  * If you need to adjust "decimals", click "Show Advanced Options" below.
* Choose Where to Mint Tokens
  * Mint to Wallet: The wallet that will receive the initial supply.
  * Default: Your own connected wallet (recommended).

{% hint style="info" %}
📌 **Almost done!**

Before creating your token, you may want to explore additional settings.

👉 **Want to customize add social links, decimals or minting authority?**\
Click **"Show Advanced Options"(Step 6)** to review **Advanced Options (Optional)**.

✅ **If no changes are needed, simply click "Create Token 2022" to finalize.**
{% endhint %}

* Create Your Token
  * Click "Create Token 2022" to finalize.
  * Approve the wallet transaction.
  * Your token is now live on the Solana blockchain! 🎉🎉

### **Step 5: Token 2022 Successfully Created! 🎉**

✅ **Congratulations! Your token 2022 has been successfully minted on the Solana blockchain.**

<figure><img src="/files/RzJF4hX0rLVTZh1bBLgM" alt="" width="436"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Step 6: Advanced Options (Optional)

<figure><img src="/files/sRCkR3HRUVmE2NCMOSc3" alt="" width="291"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

These settings give you **full control** over how your token behaves. You can skip this section, or fine-tune your token for more advanced use cases.

* Decimals (Smallest Unit)
  * Defines how small a fraction of your token can be traded.
  * Default: 6 (1 token = 1,000,000 smallest units).
  * Example:
    * Decimals = 6 → 1 token can be divided into 0.000001 units.
    * Decimals = 1 → 1 token can be divided into 0.1 units.
* Mint Authority (On/Off)
  * **ON:** You can issue additional tokens in the future, increasing the total supply if needed.
  * **OFF:** The total supply is permanently fixed, and no additional tokens can be added.
* Freeze Authority (On/Off)
  * **ON:** You can freeze or restrict transfers for certain wallets.
  * **OFF:** All wallets can freely transfer tokens.
* Default New Account State (Initialized / Frozen)
  * Controls how new token accounts behave by default.
  * `Initialized`: Ready to use immediately.
  * `Frozen`: Users can't use the token until manually unfrozen (good for airdrops, KYC-gated tokens).

> ⚠️ To use the *Default New Account State* feature, **Freeze Authority must be enabled**.

* Close Authority (On / Off)
  * Allows certain accounts to be **closed** and their rent (SOL) reclaimed.
* Permanent Delegate (On / Off)
  * Assigns a wallet with special permissions (burn, transfer, freeze...)
  * Good for programmatic control or DAO-based token management.
* Interest Bearing (On / Off)
  * If `On`, token balances grow automatically over time.
  * Set a custom **Interest Bearing Rate (%)** — e.g., `10` means 10% annual growth.
  * Great for yield-based tokens or staking models.
* Add Social & Metadata Links
  * Attach official links to your token.
    * Website – Your project’s official page.
    * Twitter (X), Telegram, Discord – Community & updates.
* Tags
  * Tags help categorize your token.
  * Example tags: Meme, FanToken, Airdrop, RWA, Tokenization.
  * Helps improve discoverability in token explorers & exchanges.

# 4️⃣ Explore & My Tokens

Discover new launches and run your creator studio

## 🚀 Introducing Explore

📌 **Explore is DexLab's discovery page — where new tokens are born and found.**

The moment a token is minted through Minting Lab it appears here, live. Track what is launching right now, follow trending tokens across Solana, and search for any token by name, symbol, or address.

👉 **Go to Explore:** <https://app.dexlab.space/token-hub>

## 🔍 What you will find on Explore

<figure><img src="/files/gWsNURinx93YdKLKMoRx" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

✅ **Just Launched on DexLab** – A live rail of tokens minted through Minting Lab, newest first. It refreshes automatically, and each card links straight to the token's page. When the same ticker is minted many times in a row, the rail folds the copies into a single card with a **+N** counter so one creator cannot wallpaper the feed.

✅ **Trending on Solana** – The most actively traded tokens across the wider Solana market.

✅ **New Listings** – Tokens recently listed on external markets, updated hourly.

✅ **Search & Explore** – Find any token by name, symbol, or address. Tokens created through Minting Lab carry a **Minted on DexLab** badge.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**DYOR — anyone can mint.** Appearing on the Just Launched feed is not an endorsement or a listing review. Always check a token's authorities and do your own research before trading.
{% endhint %}

<div><figure><img src="/files/1x6VXvOa6NNLSTIDvwuS" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/GaUFEcLuYajjJCYvqSLM" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

📌 When you click on a token, you'll be able to view detailed market data and trade the token instantly.

✅ **Market Overview** – Check the token's price, 24-hour volume, and trading activity.

✅ **Basic Information** – View token details such as name, symbol, and contract address.

✅ **Authority & Metadata** – Verify minting, freezing, and metadata update permissions.

✅ **Trade & Swap** – Instantly swap tokens for trading.

💡 **Tip:** sharing a token page link on X unfurls into a rich preview card — use it to promote your token.

## 🎨 My Tokens — your creator studio

📌 **My Tokens opens on the \_Created**\_\*\* tab: every token you have minted through Minting Lab, newest first.\*\*

✅ **Created** – Your launches appear here **instantly** after minting. Each card shows the token and offers two quick actions: **View** (open the token page) and **Share on X**.

✅ **Holdings** – The classic wallet portfolio view: every token your connected wallet holds, including balances and unindexed tokens.

💡 Connect your wallet, then open **Minting Lab → My Tokens** in the left navigation.

## 🛠 Manage Your Tokens

<figure><img src="/files/OWm0HYXED92RXR77jSXC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Easily access and control the tokens you've created.**

🔧 **Tokens with a tool icon indicate they are manageable and can be updated.**

<figure><img src="/files/66NI384SHPnnWJbGiAyZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Advanced Token Management**

Once you've selected a token from Explore or My Tokens, you can manage it through a dedicated dashboard with the following options:

✅ **Mint Token** – Issue additional tokens to any address (if minting is enabled).

✅ **Modify Metadata** – Update token details such as **name, ticker, logo, and other metadata** that were set during token creation.

✅ **Update Mint Authority** – Transfer or revoke the ability to mint new tokens.

✅ **Update Metadata Authority** – Transfer or revoke the ability to modify token metadata.

✅ **Freeze/Thaw Account** – Restrict or unfreeze token transfers for specific addresses (requires permission).

✅ **Update Freeze Authority** – Transfer or revoke the ability to freeze/unfreeze accounts (requires permission).

💡 **These tools allow you to customize your token settings, control permissions, and manage its supply effectively.** 🚀

# Create OpenBook Market ID

**📌 What is OpenBook Market ID?**

When you create a liquidity pool on DexLab, it can **only be used within DexLab** for swaps.\
But what if you want your pool to be accessible on other DEXs like **Jupiter or Raydium**?

That’s where **OpenBook Market ID** comes in!

By creating an **OpenBook Market ID**, your liquidity pool becomes **visible and tradable across multiple Solana-based DEXs**.\
This means traders from different platforms can use your pool, increasing liquidity and trading volume.

💡 **If you want your pool to be used beyond DexLab, create an OpenBook Market ID! 🚀**

## Create OpenBook Market ID

### Step 1: Click **"Orderbook Market"** to start the process.

👉 Go To Token Listing: [https://dexlab.space/token/listing](https://www.dexlab.space/token/listing)

<figure><img src="/files/1fXgDrGi4nElrTWXOstd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Step 2: Click **"Create Market" on the menu**

<figure><img src="/files/Oah1WEuX4sf5fkZjDZnq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %} <mark style="color:red;">As users are experiencing permission-related difficulties on the market ID creation site provided by OpenBook, Dexlab opened a service site exclusively for the market ID creation function today</mark> <mark style="color:red;">**(December 6).**</mark> <mark style="color:red;">Therefore, Dexlab can help you if you created your market ID from this link, but if you created it on the site provided by OpenBook, we cannot help you.</mark> *<mark style="color:red;">**So if you have difficulty proceeding with the OpenBook service, please contact the OpenBook DEX. IT IS NOT DEXLAB's SERVICE.**</mark>*
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/PQjeVaT2pOeffrsqaCD9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* If you have less than 3 $SOL but executed transactions, the platform fee will be paid although creating a market ID does not proceed. The platform fee cannot be refunded so please do note that creating an OpenBook market ID needs at least 3 $SOL for the transaction fee.

### Step 3: Setting Up the Market

<figure><img src="/files/siacI147nHxujPJppAbD" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Default setting: 'Create Market ID.'

* Min. Order Size: Orderbook minimum order quantity.
  * Example) set to 4 -> Can make an order to 0.0001 unit.
  * Example) set to 0 -> Can make an order to 1 unit.
  * Example) set to 1 -> Can make on order to 0.1 unit.
* Price Tick: Price display digits.
  * Example) set to 5 -> The price of the token is displayed in 5 decimal places like 11.12345
  * Example) set to 4 -> The price of the token is displayed in 4 decimal places like 11. 1234
* The minimum order size cannot be larger than the base token's decimals.
* The price tick size cannot be larger than the quote token's decimals.
* 'Minimum order size' + 'Price Tick' cannot be larger than the quote token decimals.
  * Example) Your base token A's token decimal is set to 9. And pairing token A with USDC. USDC is a quote token and its' token decimal is 6.\
    The minimum order size cannot be larger than 9.\
    The price tick size cannot be larger than 6.\
    'Minimum order size' + 'Price Tick' cannot be larger than 6 (quote token decimals).\
    Therefore, you can make the minimum order size and price tick set to 3 and 2 (total 5, less than 6). However, cannot be 4 and 4 because the sum exceeds 6.

# Token decimal guide

When creating a token on the Solana blockchain, the concept of “token decimals” becomes a pivotal factor in defining how your token operates, particularly in terms of its divisibility and precision in transactions. This “decimals” setting determines the smallest fraction of the token that can be represented and transacted. Essentially, it defines how many decimal places are available when dealing with the token.

\
**Decimals Explained:**

* Decimals Value: This is a numeric value that specifies the number of decimal places that the token can have. For example, a decimals value of 0 means the token cannot be divided and is only tradable in whole units. A value of 2, on the other hand, allows for two decimal places, enabling transactions of 0.01, 0.02, etc.
* Impact on Transactions: The choice of decimals directly affects how users can trade the token. Higher decimal values offer greater divisibility, allowing for smaller transactions and potentially greater liquidity.
* Standard Practice: In the Solana ecosystem, as in others, there’s a standard range for decimals typically set between 0 and 9. This range is chosen to balance the need for precision with the practicalities of handling and displaying token values.

**Practical Implications:**

* User Experience: A token with higher decimals can be used in a wider variety of transactions, appealing to users who may need to make small payments or investments.
* Market Adaptability: Tokens with a flexible decimals setting can more easily adapt to varying market values, maintaining usability and value exchange precision regardless of the token’s price.
* Compatibility and Integration: Many wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms expect tokens to conform to certain standards, including how decimals are handled. Properly setting your token’s decimals ensures broader compatibility within the Solana ecosystem and beyond.

Choosing the Right Decimals Value:\
When launching a meme coin or any token on Solana, the selection of the decimals value should reflect the intended use and utility of the token.<br>

**For example:**

* High-Value Transactions: A lower decimals value might suffice if the token is intended for high-value transactions.
* Microtransactions: For use cases that involve microtransactions, a higher decimals value is necessary to allow for small denominations.

Ultimately, the decision on the decimals value is a strategic one that affects the token’s functionality, user experience, and market adoption. By considering the specific needs of your token and its users, you can select a decimals value that supports your goals and enhances the utility of your token on the Solana blockchain.

# Factory Fee

0.02 \~ 0.15 $SOL is required for token issuance and util.

Creating an Openbook market ID requires a minimum of 3 $SOL.\
However, when creating a pool in Dexlab, there is no need to create a market ID, and when creating a pool in Raydium, creating an openbook market ID is required.

# How to check market ID?

Check my token's Market ID

1. Go on to Solscan and search for the wallet address that paid SOL as a fee when creating a market ID. **Look for transactions like the screenshot below.**

# FAQ

## :interrobang: Minting Lab FAQ

> **Q: What is the difference between the Dexlab pool and others?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Firstly, every AMM has a different structure. Some AMMs (including Dexlab) do not use orderbook so do not require a market ID. On the other hand, in the case of Radium, a market ID is required because it is an order book-based MM.

> **Q: Why there is a difference in transaction fees even though it is the same transaction?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Transaction size varies slightly depending on option selection when issuing tokens. You can think of the larger the amount of tokens as the higher the fee.

> **Q: Why token distribution function transaction fee is high?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: That function allows token transfer to be performed at once. Therefore, if the transaction is distributed to 4 wallets, the fee is high because the 4 transfer fees are shown combined.

> **Q: How to burn LP?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Minted token burning and LP token burning are the same thing. The side effects of LP burning may vary for each pool, so it is not recommended to burn it in at anytime. Check out the tutorial before using Burn. Check out the [tutorial](https://docs.dexlab.space/products/minting-lab/manage-token-burn-add-supply-fix-supply-change-authority) before using burn.

> **Q: Why I cannot use the Mint function?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: If the token mint authority is disable, add cannot be done.

> **Q: Why I cannot change authority?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: If you fixed the supply already, changing authority cannot be done.

> **Q: Why I cannot update metadata?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: If the mutable is disabled, the token Metadata cannot be updated anymore.

> **Q: What is freeze authority?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Freeze authority means abandoning the token management. Add and burn cannot be done if you freeze the authority.

> **Q: What happens when I fix the supply?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: It is giving up the management rights for tokens. So adding supply or changing the authority should be done before fixing supply. After fixing the supply, you only can burn or update the metadata of the token.

> **Q: Where can I see if a token has been minted through Minting Lab?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Two ways. In the DexLab app, tokens created through Minting Lab carry a **Minted on DexLab** badge in Explore search results and New Listings. On-chain: go to Solscan, search the token mint address, press the 'Metadata' tab, then 'View URI Metadata' — tokens minted through Minting Lab carry the creator stamp `"creator": { "name": "DEXLAB MINTING LAB" }` (the same stamp $BONK carries).

> **Q: How do I create Token 2022?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: **Minting Lab** supports both the SPL token and Token 2022 generation. Please check the [tutorial](https://docs.dexlab.space/products/minting-lab/create-token-name-logo-supply-decimal)

> **Q: How much is the Minting Lab fee?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: 0.02 \~ 0.15 $SOL is required for token issuance and util. Creating an Openbook market ID requires a minimum of 3 $SOL. However, when creating a pool in Dexlab, there is no need to create a market ID, and when creating a pool in Raydium, creating an openbook market ID is required.
>
> <mark style="color:green;">**There is a benefit when the condition is met for a total of 10 SOL, including 0.15 SOL. Check out the**</mark> [<mark style="color:green;">**Dexlab grant program**</mark>](https://dexlab-space.medium.com/introduction-of-dexlab-buidl-grant-program-da8d90cb645d)<mark style="color:green;">**.**</mark>

> **Q: How do I revoke authority?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Use 'Fixing the supply.' It is giving up the management rights for tokens. So adding supply or changing the authority should be done before fixing supply. After fixing the supply, you only can burn or update the metadata of the token.

> **Q. How does the Dexlab Pool LP lock work?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: ‘LP lock’ permanently locks the LP token created on the Pool supply. It is sending LP tokens to the PDA under the Pool contract. Dexlab also cannot access it. This permanently locks your authority to the liquidity you provided, and cannot be reversed after execution.

## :interrobang: Openbook FAQ

> **Q: How do I determine the mim order size and prize tick?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: There are no recommended values. Please refer to the [tutorial](https://docs.dexlab.space/products/minting-lab/create-openbook-market-id)

> **Q: What is the difference between advanced options in creating market ID? Why the fee is different?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: The basic setting(Openbook + Raydium) is to guarantee no error on the transaction. If you adjust the advanced option (Only Raydium option), there may be problems with transaction errors occurring. The Openbook market ID creation is based on Openbook Service, and Dexlab **Token Factory** is only supporting the user-familiar market ID creation UI. So if you want to adjust the advanced options, please ask Openbook Discord for further explanation.

> **Q: What are base tokens and quote tokens?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A: Base token mint address = your token mint address, quote token mint address = mint address of the token that you want to make a pair with your token. Before creating a market ID, please refer to the [tutorial](https://docs.dexlab.space/products/minting-lab/create-openbook-market-id)

> **Q: What is the quote token mint address?**
>
> :small\_blue\_diamond: A:
>
> USDC: EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v

>
> Wrapped SOL: So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112

> **Q: What is the recommended value for minimum order size and price tick?**

# Create Your Own Liquidity Pool – Easy & Fast!

Earn Fees by Providing Liquidity – No Experience Needed!

**📌 What is Liquidity Provision?**

Liquidity refers to depositing funds into a Liquidity Pool (LP) to enable token trading.

### 💡 **Why is Liquidity Needed?**

* Without a liquidity pool, token swaps are impossible.
* Liquidity allows users to trade tokens anytime and ensures automatic price formation.
* Once liquidity is added, other users can freely trade using the pool.

### **Key Functions of Liquidity Provision**

✅ **Enables token swaps** – Trading can only happen when liquidity exists

✅ **Automatically determines prices** – More liquidity results in more stable prices

✅ **Liquidity providers earn trading fees** – Every transaction generates fees distributed to LP providers

## 🚀 How to Create Liquidity Pool

👉 **Go to Liquidity Pool:** <https://dexlab.space/token/listing/liquidity-pool>

Providing liquidity on Solana is simple! Just follow these steps to create your own liquidity pool and start earning fees. 🚀

### 📌 Overview: Liquidity Pool Creation Steps

Before we start, let’s take a quick look at the Liquidity Pool creation screen:

<figure><img src="/files/BVqN86nmPaAckWYgaVgl" alt="" width="306"><figcaption><p>overview</p></figcaption></figure>

1. **Connect Your Wallet** – First, connect your Solana wallet to get started.
2. **Select Token Pair** – Choose two tokens to create a liquidity pool.
3. **Select Fee Tier** – Select the transaction fee for trades within your pool.
4. **Set Initial Price** – Define the starting price of the token pair.
5. **Add Initial Deposit** – Deposit tokens to bootstrap the pool.
6. **Complete & Activate Pool** – Finalize your pool and start earning fees!

### **Step 1: Connect Your Wallet**

<figure><img src="/files/1cdEW0mnOvE1yZVaWQLH" alt="" width="534"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Before creating your liquidity pool, connect your Solana wallet.**

### Step 2: **Select Token Pair**

<figure><img src="/files/Z8uFLOLaOrWggyWqpoe6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Choose two tokens to create a liquidity pool.**

* Select Token A – Click the dropdown menu and choose the first token.
* Select Token B – The second token is usually SOL by default, but you can change it if needed.
* Token Pairing Rules:
  * These two tokens will form a trading pair in the liquidity pool.
  * Example: If you select YourToken/SOL, users will be able to swap between YourToken and SOL.
  * Make sure you have enough of both tokens in your wallet to provide initial liquidity.

<figure><img src="/files/vvs2DJaLhxDORLh85lXy" alt="" width="494"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **When selecting Token A, a search box will appear.**

* Enter the token name, ticker, or address.
* Be aware that multiple tokens may have the same name or ticker.
* To ensure accuracy, search using the exact token address.

💡 **Tip:**\
If you’re creating a liquidity pool for a newly issued token, using the contract address ensures you select the correct one.

✅ **Once you've selected the correct token, proceed to the next step!**

### Step 3: **Select Fee Tier**

<figure><img src="/files/3WQbUKGDf48uNQCfC57E" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Choose the transaction fee that traders will pay when swapping tokens in your liquidity pool.**

* What is the Fee Tier?
  * This is the percentage of each trade that goes to liquidity providers.
  * Higher fees generate more revenue but may reduce trading activity.
  * Lower fees attract more trades but result in lower earnings per transaction.

<figure><img src="/files/XqJp4TaC05PzY4jzg9Mf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **If you see "Already exists" next to a fee tier, it means a liquidity pool with that token pair and fee tier has already been created.**

* You cannot create a new pool with the same fee tier.
* Instead, you should provide liquidity to the existing pool.
* If you still want to create a new pool, Select a different fee tier that is not marked as "Already exists."

### Step 4: **Set Initial Price**

<figure><img src="/files/ZsvcHPj42AURRmiRqtQJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Define the starting price for the selected token pair.**

* Enter the initial price of Token A in terms of Token B.
* This determines the starting exchange rate for the liquidity pool.
* Be sure to check the current market prices before setting the initial price.
* Example:\
  1 DXL = 0.00001 SOL → This means each DXL token is initially priced at 0.00001 SOL.

💡 **Tip: Double-check your initial price against decentralized exchange rates**

### Step 5: **Set Initial Deposit**

<figure><img src="/files/ngi17rvrwhWIo51ntmGH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Set Initial Liquidity**

* Deposit tokens to bootstrap the liquidity pool.
* Example: 100,000 DXL & 1 SOL → The deposit maintains a 50:50 ratio based on the initial price.
* The estimated Total Value Locked (TVL) is displayed, showing the total value of the deposited assets.
* A small pool creation fee (e.g., 0.02 SOL) may be required.

✅ **Once the liquidity is added, click "Create Pool" to finalize the setup!** 🚀

### Step 6: **Complete & Activate Pool**

<figure><img src="/files/smBp0b5skfj7Ycl67vbx" alt="" width="369"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 **Confirm & Create Pool**

* Your liquidity pool has been successfully created! 🎉
* Pool ID is generated and can be used to track or manage the pool.
* Click "Go Pool Manage Page" to access and monitor your liquidity pool.
* Wait up to 5 minutes for the pool to be fully active on Dexlab.

⚠ **Caution:**

* **Never burn LP tokens!** Burning LP tokens can disrupt the liquidity balance and affect the pool’s functionality.

✅ **Your liquidity pool is now live! Start earning fees from trades! 🚀**

# Provide & Manage Liquidity

# CW20 Token Creation

This guide go over how to instantiate, query, and execute CW20 methods seen below.

## What is CW20?

CW20 is a specification for fungible tokens on the CosmWasm platform. It takes some inspiration from Ethereum's ERC20 standard, but with many modifications to better suit the needs of CosmWasm. The types defined in the CW20 specification can be imported by contracts that want to use the standard or by contracts that interact with any CW20-compliant token.

## Enter the SuperTools website

<figure><img src="/files/ba7yHa63safQskCWEjbK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This tutorial is written based on Keplr wallet. [Keplr Wallet Creation](/products/superdex-for-xpla/keplr-wallet-creation)

Click 'CW20 Token' on the left tab to start token creation.

# 1️⃣ Instantiate (Minting)

<figure><img src="/files/ZT0RR4knPddXW5d2kojT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Contract Details

In order to create a CW20 token, a CW20 contract must be instantiated.

<figure><img src="/files/DAarnHdO93hVrNQt0w2O" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Name:** the full name of your token.
* **Symbol (Ticker)**: the shortening of your CW20 token name.
* **Decimals:** denote how much divisible your token is. If your token has 6 decimals, it means addresses can have as little as 0.000001 of your token.
* **Initial Balance:** To avoid creating a token with no quantity in the blockchain, you need to specify the wallet address and quantity for the tokens to be issued. If you're issuing a token for personal use, just enter your Keplr wallet address and the maximum issued quantity (Like the above image). Or, you can divide the maximum issued quantity for the team and investor, according to the tokenomics, and enter the wallet address and allocation quantity for each. Click the '+' icon to add more wallet addresses.

## Minting Details

<figure><img src="/files/i1pbRoXTH1fWk4Tv0xBf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Minter Address:** the address that has access to mint new tokens. In this case, I wrote my Keplr wallet address.
* **Cap:** the maximum amount of tokens that you want to issue.

## Marketing Details

<figure><img src="/files/Qip2x0khs9C4SFJjHIhD" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Project**: the name shown on the marketing details.
* **Description:** where you can store detailed project information about your token.
* **Wallet Address**: will be shown as the marketing address of your token.
* **Logo URL**: any URL that contains an image, your token will have that URL information for marketing and branding purposes.
* Click the 'Instantiate Contract' button and check the pop-up wallet window to proceed.

<figure><img src="/files/nY9tfG3BsRqXXz7GQRad" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You may see the notice on the website above if the instantiate went successfully.

# What is a DEX?

The world's first completely decentralized derivatives exchange with trustless cross-chain trading.

## What is Serum Dex?

[Serum](https://projectserum.com/) is a decentralised cryptocurrency exchange (DEX). They are run by the Serum Foundation, made up of people with vast experiences in DeFi, cryptocurrencies, and virtual currency trading. The project was born to address issues inherent to decentralised finance (DeFi) such as centralization, speed, usability, and multi-chain support.

**Based on this, DexLab operates the Dex Exchange.**

## Key advantages of Serum

#### **Cross-chain swaps**

In the decentralized currency landscape, trusted parties have to be employed to facilitate swaps. However, for Serum, the swaps are done trustlessly between decentralized projects.

#### **SRM Token**

SRM is the native token on the Serum network. SRM token holders benefit via discounted fees on the platform, among other advantages.

#### **SerumUSD/BTC**

SerumBTC is a model used on the platform to create tokens using Ethereum’s ERC-20 standards. The model is also ideal for tokenizing Bitcoin (BTC) on the parent blockchain, Solana. SerumUSD, on the other hand, is a model for creating blockchain-based stablecoins.

#### **Physically settled cross-chain contract**

To power the derivatives market, the contracts are used to power margin positions for DeFi lovers. With support from a leading derivatives platform, Serum is a platform with basic and advanced margin trading options to cater to new and experienced traders.

#### **A decentralized Order Book**

Away from automated market-making (AMM), the protocol has a decentralized order book. This will allow orders to be automatically matched on-chain. This gives traders full control over their trades.

A key hindrance of a distributed order book by other DeFi-focused protocols is because they are based on Ethereum, which has low speeds leading to congestion and increased fees.Are there any transaction fees?

Serum is said to have highly competitive trading fees, and with the Serum Token (SRM), you can get 60% discount on fees.

\* Holding SRM or MSRM makes you eligible for fee discounts

# Dexlab Trading FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about trading in our platform.

## I'm getting an insufficient lampports error.

You must have at least 0.03SOL in your wallet for transaction fees.

## Why do I need to have at least 0.03SOL?

For the first transaction, **≈0.024 SOL** is required (creating a transaction wallet), so Serum Orderbook requires a minimum holding of 0.03 SOL.\
In order to trade, you will need to deposit some SOL to your wallet.\
Due to Serum's design, there is need to open a trading account for the pair when you first trade it.\
So, the “first trade” fee is ≈0.024 SOL

## Sometimes my balance wont show up?

Sometimes, there are delays with the Solana RPC ( Serum Orderbook ).

Please wait a moment on the balance screen. If it is still not showing up, please check the <https://trade.dexlab.space/#/v2/my/balances> page.

## I can't see my order history.

Solana RPC response is delayed, and some order histories take time to load.Please wait at least 1 minute on the screen. Or check out the <https://trade.dexlab.space/#/v2/my/orders> page.

## I completed the transaction, but the tokens did not arrive in my wallet.

All transactions are deposited into the transaction wallet you connected with. Please settle your funds through the transaction screen or the Balances page. If this does not work, you can also check under the market you transacted, and settle your funds there.

## The order was not created due to a program error.

If your order cannot be placed due to a connection problem with Solana RPC, please wait at least 1 minute on this page. If there are too many requests (more than 30 requests per 10 seconds), RPC will generate a response error (429).

## Where can I trade Dexlab ($DXL) tokens?

Currently, DXL tokens can be traded below.\
Dexlab:\
<https://trade.dexlab.space/#/market/DYfigimKWc5VhavR4moPBibx9sMcWYVSjVdWvPztBPTa>\
\
Raydium:\
<https://raydium.io/swap/?ammId=asdEJnE7osjgnSyQkSZJ3e5YezbmXuDQPiyeyiBxoUm>\
\
Coingecko:\
<https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dexlab>\
\
Coinmarketcap:\
<https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dexlab>

## **Why can't am I seeing a transaction error when settling on the DEX?**

If you're receiving a transaction error when settling, for example, your transaction logs say something like *Program 9xQeWvG816bUx9EPjHmaT23yvVM2ZWbrrpZb9PusVFin failed: custom program error: 0x1000772*, then check the Referrer Quote Wallet in the explorer. If should be an SPL token account for the quote currency. If it is not, e.g., it's a SOL address, then the GUI you're using is invalid, and you should switch to a new one.

## **Why am I getting System program error 1 when trading on the DEX?**

`System program error 1` indicates a lack of SOL in the wallet to complete the transaction. You may need as much as `0.03-0.1SOL` to conduct a trade.

## **How do I delete a duplicate token account (not a mnemonic)?**

TFirst, this happens due to an oversight in some applications. They should be using associated token accounts. Now, before deleting your account, know that this is very dangerous. If you ever send to the deleted address, you might lose your funds!

If you still want to do this, then you can enable the feature in sollet as follows. Go to sollet. Enter the developer console in the browser.

Type `localStorage.setItem('warning-close-account', true)` Open up the token details of the token you want to remove. Send all the tokens of that single token type, for example, USDC, to a new wallet that you control (so that your token balances of the token you want to delete are zero). Then a Delete button will appear. Stop. Ask yourself if this is what you really want to do. If yes, then delete. It's strongly recommended to transfer all tokens to a new wallet after deleting an address. Again, if you ever send to a deleted address, you will incinerate your funds. Be careful.

## Why is the current price different from the price on the chart?

The chart is displayed based on the transaction history. The last price shown on the chart is the last traded price. The current price will depend on the OrderBook even if there are no trades executed at the calculated price according to buy/sell (all Serum DEX are the same)

*Chart = based on the transaction history we are collecting*\
*Price = Calculated price according to Buy/Sell volume of Serum DEX*

# SWAP

## 🔄SWAP

<figure><img src="/files/MJTQeZ7dmEDdiC82J9Sy" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Staking

![](/files/vpMuBjmGsiAQ9WQ3AEzk)

## **Greeting! Dexlab Community!**

As previously announced, on January 10th our Staking program will go live on Dexlab. We are delighted to clarify the details of our Staking program. Here is an easy-to-understand, step-by-step guide for everyone!

First and foremost, as we always set our mind to be a community-driven project, we have prepared various benefits for staking pool users. The details are as follows:

* <mark style="background-color:red;">**APY during staking**</mark>

-APY will differ every month. Rewards will be paid in relation to the fees incurred in Dexlab.

-Staking rewards will be paid weekly. (If you cancel staking before compensation, compensation will not be paid.)

-Staking is carried seasonally, and benefits for each season may vary also.

* <mark style="background-color:red;">**Guaranteed airdrop event allocation (100%)**</mark>

-There will be different types of airdrops, from even airdrop amounts or varying amounts according to the staking quantity of the user.

* <mark style="background-color:red;">**Dexlab IDO Ranking Pool Participation Ticket**</mark>

-If you are in the ranking according to the staked quantity, you will get a guaranteed part in IDO sales depending on your ranking. It follows the existing ranking system. If you do not stake, you will not be included in the ranking.

* <mark style="background-color:red;">**Increase the chance of Dexlab IDO sale Standard pool**</mark>

-If you did not stake DXL but participated in a standard pool, one ticket will be given. However, if you stake your DXL, you will get 1 ticket per 100 DXL. The winning rate increases with the number of tickets you have.

* <mark style="background-color:red;">**Pre-test privilege**</mark>

-Dexlab will draw a pre-test privilege lottery ticket for new services in the future. You never know what’s to come.

# Unstaking

{% hint style="info" %}
**Updated March 22.**\
Dexlab’s staking service is managed by Project Serum that is not been maintained recently. As so, the service is not compatible with Solana’s latest specs so unstaking is only possible through Dexlab’s Sollet forked wallet for now.

The staking UI will be disabled on May 1st. Therefore, we recommend doing unstaking as soon as possible.\
\
You can access Dexlab's Sollet forked service here

📎 <https://bit.ly/3Juh8d9>
{% endhint %}

❗️ If you want to unstake DXL, you need to collect all of your rewards before proceeding with your action.
